SAFETY

We take safety very seriously at J & S Mechanical and are always looking at innovative ways to accomplish our goals. J & S Mechanical is committed to safety and requires our employees to have and sign a personal commitment to safety. We have implemented a safety incentive program with our employees that has proven successful as well as a Corporate Safety Officer who tours the site with the supervisors and prepares a safety analysis.

J & S requires weekly safety meetings of all of our employees where we address MSDS and specific safety concerns that are possible at that time. In addition, we perform pre-task planning and job hazard analysis for any non-standard items to be performed such as craning, equipment handling, and deep excavations. All of our superintendents are OSHA 30 Hour certified and have numerous employees trained in trench safety and confined space.

We realize that to be successful safety needs proper planning and foresight, and is an issue that must be addressed by everyone and improved on a continuous basis.
